enbox
The enbox is based on the Ethernut Design and provides
8 RS232 ports
8 relay outputs
16 optocoupled inputs
Back Panel
Six screwed cable glands on top of the back panel provide sufficient space
to route cables into the enbox. The Coconect Board is mounted below the
glands and holds the eight DB9 connectors of the RS232 interfaces. A
boxed header connector may be mounted on either side of the board to select
the interface type, DTE or DCE.
The Ethernut Board with a
Coconut Board plugged on top are mounted
inside the
sealed box on the left side. This extra packing had been necessary to conform
to EN 50133, which is required by access control systems.
Top View
Two flat cables are used to connect the
Coconut Board with the Coconect Board
at the back plane and the Dionut Board at the front panel.
There's enough room inside the enbox housing (77.4mm x 290.9mm x 199mm) to
connect bulky installation cables to the digital inputs and outputs.
Front Panel
The Dionut Board with the LED indicators on one side and relay, optocouplers
and screw terminal on the other is mounted on the front panel.
